This is our current default schedule:

9:30 am - 10:00 am: coffee, pastries, socializing

10:00 am - 10:30 am: [| laptop setup] and introductions*

10:30 am - 11:30 am: Introduction to Open Source Communications Tools

11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Git Mini Projects

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Career Panel

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Lunch

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm: History and Ethics of Free Software (optionally)

2:30 pm - 4:45 pm: Contributions Workshop

4:45 pm - 5:00 pm: Closing

This is another schedule we've used in the past:

10:30 am - 11:15 am: Introduction to Open Source Communications Tools

11:15 am - 12:00 pm: Introduction to Version Control

12:00 pm - 12:30 pm: Career Panel

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: Lunch

1:30 pm - 2:00 pm: History and Ethics of Free Software

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Github Demo

2:30 pm - 4:45 pm: Contributions Workshop

4:45 pm - 5:00 pm: Closing

* We frequently say that laptop setup/introductions is 10:00-10:15 with instruction starting at 10:15 but we almost never actually start on time. Attendees often don't arrive until 10:15ish.
