- Option 2 (most self-directed):Introduction to APIs in Python CodeAcademy exercises - Includes demonstrations and lessons on using APIs from NPR, Bitly, Sunlight Foundation, and PlaceKitten
- Option 3: Building a dataset using Twitter API
