Most Open Source Comes to Campus events have been day-long events, using approximately the schedule listed below. Another option is to stretch the event out over two days - we have a suggested schedule for that as well.

9:30 am - 10:00 am: coffee, pastries, socializing
10:00 am - 10:30 am: laptop setup and introductions*
10:30 am - 11:30 am: Introduction to Open Source Communications Tools
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Git Mini Projects
12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Career Panel
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Lunch
2:00 pm - 2:30 pm: History and Ethics of Free Software (optionally)
2:30 pm - 4:45 pm: Contributions Workshop
4:45 pm - 5:00 pm: Closing
Default Two-day Schedule

Day 1: Tutorials
5:30pm - 6:00pm: snacks and socializing
6:00pm - 6:30pm: laptop setup and introductions

Other Potential Schedules
* We frequently say that laptop setup/introductions is 10:00-10:15 with instruction starting at 10:15 but we almost never actually start on time. Attendees often don't arrive until 10:15ish.
