The Chicago Python Workshop runs workshops to bring more women into the Chicago Python community by offering an accepting and secure environment where they can learn and practice Python coding skills. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free learning experience for all women and their friends. Be patient and kind to others. Help make this a beginner friendly place.

To make clear what is expected, All at any workshop are required to conform to the following Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event:
All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds and skill levels.
 
Honor the rules established for who is invited to attend the workshop.
We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Harassment includes offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or skill level. Other forms of harassment include sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
