How to install Subversion on a Mac

1) Go to Applications folder->Utilities Folder->Terminal

Install Xcode Command Line Tools:


2) On the terminal write the following command : 

$ xcode-select --install

3) Click “Install” to download and install Xcode Command Line Tools.

  • After the installation is done. Do step one again and then click on Get Xcode*

4)Click on the Free button

5) Click on Install App

6) Introduce your Apple ID and password in the correct textbox and click Sign In. If you do not have an Apple ID you must create one.

7) Installing.............. Go grab some coffee because this will take a while

8) Click on Agree License Agreement

9) Introduce your Root password to make changes and click "Ok"

10) Installing...........................................

11) Yay!! you are done.
