A mailing list is an expedient way for event organizers and volunteers to communicate with each other. Create a mailing list for staffers that:
- requires approval from a moderator for a signup
- accepts all inbound messages (This allows those on the mailing list to act as a 'help desk' to attendees of the event who have questions about logistics.)
- does archives, but private to members
Mailman is a good mailing list manager to use.
